It’s scary. I have never seen so much violence committed in the name of an American President who furthermore encourages violence.

I haven’t seen so much in the name of a President per se, but I’ve seen plenty in the name of conservative ideologies.

Abortion clinic bombings and murders. The Atlanta Olympics bombing. The Oklahoma City bombing. The National Alliance. The Phineas Priesthood. The Order.

Left-wing violence has been comparatively rare. Violence is built in to conservative ideology and religion: They will thrown democracy under the bus any time they don’t get their way.
