Just because there is an element of truth in that statement, doesn’t mean that his conclusions are correct.
His statement is not helpful. It is inflammatory, just like much of his rhetoric. He is no diplomat, that’s for sure.

That’s the issue here.

I spend a lot of my time arguing against fake narratives of Palestinian history and peoplehood.

Newt’s not wrong like that.

He’s wrong about what any of this practically MEANS at the present time. And the ‘they could have gone lots of places’ is ridiculous, unless he means California.
