It’s legally required that we have it.

And by obstructing it, the GOP are obstructing the proper functioning of government. Not something that hasn’t been settled already, but something that has.

If they want to mount some constitutional challenge to the office, they can go ahead.

Otherwise it’s a law that was passed by the legislature and for that legislature to then block the Executive from enacting it is balls-to-the-floor stupid.
