I have an Apple iBook G4. Bought it new 6 years ago. Never upgraded Panther operating software. Since then there’s been Tiger, now Leopard. So I was two upgrades behind. That’s why I couldn’t log in to LGF from home, but I can now as you can see.

I’m non-geeky as well. Went to Macspecialist to have the Leopard software installed because I needed additional memory as well. Bought an external hard drive to back up everything in conjunction with Time Machine.

Leopard is really cool. The computer doesn’t run any faster than before, but it was never annoyingly slow to begin with.
