There’s more to it than the gift issue. The crappy gift choice was symptomatic of the complete failure of the Obama administration to follow traditional protocol for the visits of the PM of the UK: dinner & a press conference, flags out, the whole thing. What’s worse is the excuse offered up by the White House, that Obama is overwhelmed & too tired. If that’s their excus, ther reality must be even worse.

One day even a stubborn Obama supporter like you will be forced to admit that hiring a man with next to no relevant experience was not such a good idea.
