Part of the solution is people on the right standing up and saying we don’t accept these people, and that’s exactly what Charles has been doing. His thanks for this is smear jobs by those who would accept these people either because they agree with the creationists or haven’t figured out what a poison it is to do so.

Agree 100%.

I’m just saying that we should not accept, blindly, the notion that these Creationists are really Right. They may claim to be, and they may be congruent with the Right on other issues, but the impulse to use the organs of the State to advance their religious agenda is fundamentally Fascist, and we should call them on it.

We do need to marginalize these people, because they are useful to the Left.
