No matter when I see it, all I see is repression. Be it head scarf or full cover, it all reads as repression. I was at the airport in Detroit waiting for hubby to pick me up and it was about 98 degrees out. A whole Muslim family was waiting for someone and the man was wearing golf clothes (polo and lightweight pants and the women were all wearing long sleeves, long pants and head wear. I was angry.

Modest dress does not mean women have to cover up from head to toe because men cannot control their base urges (which is basically the reason why). It is nothing but repression and it angers me.

Of course, I would never say anything, it is their culture, but it really does piss me off.

I see high heels as repression. I only say it here.
