Well, I just got an editing job - 70,000 words. Good news is I asked for a handsome fee, and got it. Bad news is, I leave Thursday for Vietnam and the client needs the work done ASAP. First deadline was five days’ time. We negotiated it to next Friday.

So the first week of my holiday jaunt will be a work week. But, I get half my fee in advance, so yay!
