there was an Ironside episode i remember for some reason. Called “Nightmare Trip”

Ed, one of the cops on ironside’s squad gets mugged, loses his wallet then gets arrested on a misdemeanor. as i recall he wont tell the locals who he is or that he’s a cop. so he experiences a couple of days in a local slammer from a sort of anonymous point of view

meanwhile the team is looking for him cause he fell off the map. they eventually track him down and spring him.
