If Nate was the partisan hack, his right wing detractors want to make him out to be. He would have just said what Democrats and liberals wanted to hear with the Walker recall. Silver being Silver he was honest about that too. I don’t know if Obama will win in the electoral landslide he predicts but I do think he’s done a good job demonstrating why he thinks that. Much more than the unskewed polls guy who clearly has a grudge against him.

He also accurately predicted that the GOP would pick up 60 seats in the House back in 2010. If he were Dick Morris or just about any other conservative hack he would have lied and said the Democrats were going to pick up seats. At this point the left and right don’t just have different ideologies and constituencies, they have different characters.
