But ultimately I want to needs to explain to the GOP’s party base that this can’t keep going on. Obama is the president and will be till January of 2017; That has to be accepted. Waiting till he was gone might have been a possible course prior to the 2012 election, but now it isn’t any longer. And yes, that will mean a compromise that will require some acceptance of left-wing priorities. But there’s nothing for it; We simply cannot have the nation going to rack and ruin for 4 years. That means we need to accept the situation and get to work. Otherwise, there’s not going to be anything left of conservatism politically.
