I don’t listen to him anymore…and I happen to know Barry Manilow, as one of my cousins was married to his first cousin. He is a very friendly, very nice guy. I wonder if Beck is as charitable as Barry Manilow is. My cousin’s kids are now adults, and he is more like an uncle to them still, than a cousin to this day.

He grew up in a grotty part of Brooklyn, and after his parents divorced, his Mum zt”l worked so hard so that he could have an education. He was a wonderful son, and in the few times I saw him? He was as friendly and warm as could be.
