He did do a great job. Just want you to know, though, that every six months every commercial pilot puts their ticket on the line demonstrating in a proficiency check that they can handle just such emergencies. If they bust it, they don’t fly until they pass their re-check. If they bust THAT, then……………
Just think if doctors, lawyers, etc, had to pass such checks every six months to keep practicing.

my admiration for pilots has gone up a notch or two (from an already seriously high level…)
