The US managed to intern its Japanese population without massive fatalities, so it was possible for Stalin have handled things better. Moreover, the Chechens didn’t actually revolt, just as the American Japanese did not revolt. Both were removed from their homes because it was feared they might revolt, a fear driven by hysteria and paranoia.

The Chechens did revolt lasted from 1940 when they saw the Soviets lose in Finland (at first) till 1944. Look it up sometime. Khasan Israilov was the Chechen leader back then.

And the USA was not being invaded by the Japanese and suffering tens of millions of dead either.
