They never field the IS-3 but I have come to hate both the SU-100 and IS-3 because they have the capability to shoot back at fighters and tactical bombers combined with armor thick enough to laugh off most artillery attacks so just about the only thing to do is pin them down with strategic high flying bombers then send in the king tigers…

Make the fight for Berlin take place just a bit later and you’ll get to see the Pike (IS-3). It’s liable to be the last thing some of your tankers ever see, though. It had a thunderous 122mm gun and excellent armor.

Also bad news for dismounted infantry and any tac air you might still have would be the M17. It’s a M5 halftrack mounting a Maxon turret with 4 .50 cal M2HBs. The US shipped the Soviet Union 1000 of those during WWII, and they normally formed the AAMG company in an SU-100 brigade, operating in batteries of 4.
