It’s scary man. And yet people still don’t want to listen. I mean I understand why society values the police but at the same time, we don’t hold them to any level of accountability. I guess by society I mean white Americans.

It is a matter of accountability, it is a matter of prosecutors not wanting to alienate police because they often work with them to obtain convictions (against non-police officers) and of course, of the fact that America is so gun-ridden that police have to view nearly every encounter as potentially life-threatening.
