Thank you Charles for posting that “Polk Salad Annie” not too long ago. I sent that song to some old childhood chums over Facebook and whatnot and it rekindled a couple of friendships. My high school graduating class, we’re reeling from a spate of suicides, and that song brought some of us together even though we’re all spread out around the country.

Tony Joe White, you were a swampy fun gruff easy motherfucker. RIP

The ranks are thinning. 365 graduated in my 1973 Ambridge PA high school class. 45th Reunion posted that there are only 60 of us still kicking…
