I don’t see how, in a two-party system, the complete destruction of one party as a viable choice is a good thing.

Its a good thing if it leads to the destruction of a party that can no longer function for any purpose besides winning elections.

The GOP’s time may be up and we would instead get a new party made up of fiscal conservatives and blue dog democrats, with the actual progressives getting their own real party…

Or we may see some kind of three way split (yeah right)
