we do what is in our best interest, period. if some one wants to claim otherwise let them.

I claim otherwise.
I do not always do exactly what’s in my personal best interest, when the greater good is served by my doing something else.

And anyone who wants to claim that there are those of us who do that, let ‘em. They’re wrong.
