BHO will talk in a bit, but I suspect he asked the CEO to step down as part of a the deal to get tax payer help. Any plan to help GM that kept the failing leadership I would oppose.

The CEO that The One “asked” to step down was not part of the initial problem.

Even if he was, The One’s “request” was out of line. GM’s acceding to it was even more so.

In the same sense that referring to “managerial capitalism” does not make it anything but syndicalist socialism.

/If the CEO needed to go, that’s what stockholders’ meetings are for.
