Yep. For example, Pat Buchanan being described as a conservative and regularly being given attention as though he’s someone with any credibility at all.

Though to be sure, at one time Buchanon was prominent enough to be featured at the GOP convention. He’s been getting a lot of milage out of that since then, though.
