It’s interesting to serve on jury duty. I wanted it to be a “trial of my peers” I really did. I wanted to be the juror that I would want at my trial. I tried to be fair, but found that the trail information, overwhelmed the defendants position, almost before the defendants story was told.

This is what happens when legislators blindly vote to give law enforcement anything it wants “the tools it needs”.

I wonder if a citizen’s “right to a lawyer” should include, in a means-tested sense, the right to some significant fraction of the resources that the government expends on a case.
