Well, he has made the case that the UN is a rotten organization that we should avoid whenever possible. Question to you: What non-UN organizations can take the lead on this issue, since the UN is clearly compromised? I know its not a science question, but with AGW the politics are almost as important as the science itself.

Well the UN is only as compromised as the member states make it.

IN terms of policy, I really don’t see how any global policy could be reached without the UN in some capacity.

As to the science, well look at the American Physical Society, or the Royal society or any number of prestigious scientific organizations. They all tell the same story.
