I remember when there was a proposal to add a precinct at my alma mater, the local Republicans fought it tooth and nail. It to me really showed their true colors in regards to participating in the democratic process. And if I recall, the college R’s like good little sheep followed their party masters even though it was screwing with their franchise. too.
