Oh, they still make them. Or Wal-Mart bought all the remaining stock, because I saw a bunch of bags of them being sold there yesterday.

My most hated candies at Halloween were Good & Plenty’s, those generic hard candies that had no taste, and the religious candies that some of the more Baptist homes in my neighborhood would give out.

The worst thing to get, though, were the Chick tracts. I hated those things. There was always at least one family in the neighborhood that would give them out to try and scare kids away from Halloween fun. Bastards.
