Well…intoxication in general (wrt Christianity, at least) isn’t cool.

“Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.” (KJV, 1 Corinthians 6:10) I’ve always taken ‘drunkard’ as a commentary on intoxication in general, rather than “drugs are cool but don’t drink too much”…

Unlike Judaism where we’re required (yes, *required*) to drink at least one full glass of wine every Sabbath, most of the holidays, weddings and funerals, and FOUR glasses at Pesach.
