I am convinced that there are some cleaning tools that cause us to become “cleanliness obsessed”.

Studies have indicated that a the best deterrence to developing allergies is to have a little brother, or pets (or both).

Not sure how well that works, I had 3 little brothers and still have allergies.

I don’t use it for allergy control, but it helps tremendously with the damage the kids and the dogs do to the carpets and rugs. I can’t imagine allergies being helped by wetting the rugs and hoping they didn’t mildew (which is kind of how I feel about it). Plus it gives me that false feeling of cleanliness that is so important.
