A Florida event featuring United States Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) was canceled Thursday after the hosting venue learned the gathering intended to commemorate the third anniversary of January 6, NBC News exclusively reports.

“Please be advised that Westgate was not made aware of the purpose of this event when we were approached to host a book signing,” Westgate Resorts in Kissimmee said in a statement, according to the report. “This event has been canceled and is no longer taking place at our resort.”
