While I disagree with a lot of Obama’s policies, I feel bad for the guy. No matter what he does, he’ll get flack from the left and the right. He can’t win.

And he has. And he will continue to do so now that he’s learned reaching out to the right is a waste of time while they’re under the spell of the Palin/Teabag crowd. And with their poster child McCain going off the mental health reservation by denying his personal moniker of pride (too late to take it off the cover of that book written by someone else, but carrying your name, Johnny), there’s little chance they’ll come around before 2013…at which point, I expect ‘bipartisan’ to be the theme for four years as they scramble to field a candidate people will believe in enough to vote for the guy/gal.
