re: #81 WindUpBird

Coulter’s demographic is different, she’s an author who has a larger television presence, she has book deals, she has a bigger industry pushing her schtick. she’d lose power by repeating Geller’s rhetoric, she’d harm her persona

The instant Coulter were to gain power by espousing the same extreme rhetoric as Geller, she’d do it, don’t even worry about it.

And the instant Geller were to gain power by tossing aside the EDL and going “legit” and embracing a more mainstream GOP message like Limbaugh, she’d do that.

Simple math, unbelievably simple. We’re looking at the people behind the rhetoric. The rhetoric is the game. They’re all equally scummy, they just have different chess moves they have to make in media to make money, increase their personas and get their messages out, different arrays of pieces.

I agree with you there on Coulter. She probably says more nasty things about liberals than about Muslims. I think she’s far more politically motivated than racially. Maybe that’s the difference between the two women.

I don’t agree with you about Geller tho. She likes the limelight. I don’t think she particularly needs or cares about the $. I also think there is something within her that thinks she’s doing some kind of mitzvah (blessing) and maybe that’s why I think she’s so vile.

Yes, they’re all scummy.
