This is nothing new. Akin’s just the latest in a long line of these guys. Including Ron Paul just a few months ago.

Those don’t match up with the way he put it in the interview. The idea he put forward is not that the rape was fake, or a lie, or a result of second thought but that the female body can tell the difference between a forced rape and a non-forced rape.
