Follow the thread… I’ve tried to explain the concept of fiat currency to Wendya three straight posts, and she can’t wrap her head around it. She keeps acting like I’m some nutjob because I understand that the dollar is worth what the government decides it is worth.

Market trumps government.

People trump government, as long as we have anything even vaugely resembling a democracy.

For that matter, the federal reserve is not exactly the government.

Or do you believe otherwise?
