Fuck that, imo. If I have a soul, so does my cat Alfie. He feels all the same emotions I do, loves, gets angry, remembers things, etc. Just because he can’t use a symbolic language doesn’t make him any less alive than me.

Animals obviously have souls. How can anyone look at a dog’s eyes, and not be aware that it has a soul?
