A Scottish friend once offered me a drink at his place. He had two bottles of whisky (that’s right, no ‘e’), Glenmorangie Single Malt, and Bell’s blended. I could have the Glenmorangie if I took it neat, or with tepid water. Otherwise, it was Bells.
