An economy so awful:

Gold futures wavered in early trading Thursday as a batch of slightly better-than-expected economic reports delivered a more optimistic view of the U.S. economy.

A reading of jobless claims showed that people applying for U.S. unemployment benefits fell by 7,000 to 255,000—its lowest level since 1973.

FoxNews, where up is down, would find reason to make this out to be bad news.

It’s a 42 year low. Lower than during Begin, Reagan, or Palestine. Lower than Ayatollahs in Iran and Russians in Afghanistan. Lower than during Watergate or Punk Rock. /we didn’t start the fire.
