Charles I believe this story is not very correct. Anders Fogh Rasmussen is in fact a man of high integrity. He stood up for the freedom of speech in relation to the muhammed cartoon affair, which many of his colleagues in europe as well as the americas didnt! No mainstream media in US printed the cartoons…..

As far as I know he has not promised to give an apology for the newspapers printing of the cartoon. In fact / at the danish press conference after his election to become sercretary general he denied that this would happen. He will be going to Turkey with Obama but I doubt he will apologize for those cartoons!

As a guest to Turkey he might go and talk coexistence of cultures etc. but I would be highly suprised if he actually gave an apology as this articles insinuates.

Give him some credit Charles! He sent danish troops to IRAQ and AFGHANISTAN in large numbers considering Denmarks size. In fact now they operate in southern afghanistan, the most dangerous areas!

Let us wait and see if that apology will really come!
