The spending is not different from that the GOP engaged in. At all. The main difference is the GOP tends to spend while cutting taxes, engaging in more deficit spending.

Never said the GOP’s spending was any better. In truth, I think both parties have grown overly comfortable with answering everything with a new spending bill, getting outraged and tossing out accusations when suggestions go up that spending be frozen or cut. Members of both parties are quick to clutch their pearls and get the vapors as they moan about how cutting this or that is simply “unthinkable.”

As for the “selling” part, we’re financin’ a majority of this spendin’ through selling off debt to foreign nations, like our good “buddies” the ChiComs. We’re mortgaging our grandkids and pretty much our great-grandkids futures now to shovel more money on the fire. We’re not Greece yet, but we’re damn sure on our way.

Though that’s just my opinion, I could be wrong.
