Yup. Did you ever see Stand By Me? One reviewer noted how striking the parallels are between that movie and Deliverance, right down to the characters of the four male leads in each.

I saw Stand by Me. That was the adaptation of Steven King’s “The Body?”
Never made the connection, but yeah, maybe.
