I guess I see “California attitude” in this because I live here and 95% of the people I’m around during the average day have their heads up their asses, think their shit don’t stink, and completely disregard the fact that anyone else around them even exists, no less deserves any respect.

People in Baltimore are nice. Even bums hanging out at the 7-Eleven hold the door for you. People on the Metro at 1 a.m. are nice (my boss thinks everyone in Baltimore is out to kill him, so I think it may be that I’m really aggressively friendly with everyone).
