Silver is far more a “tribal” metal, anyway. Look at the Bedouin, decked in pounds of silver, the fine filigree-work of the Yemeni Jews, I could go on. Point is, silver’s the only way to go, at least to my way of thinking.

I make an exception, though, for people from India and the sub-continent; their goldwork is beautiful, and, not to sound like a racist, it suitable to the range of pigmentation found there. Gold looks silly on pale skin.

Funny you say that. I rarely wear gold and when I do it’s only when I have a killer tan.
