Sometimes registration is open but we don’t have a thread to announce it’s open. AFAIK there isn’t a policy of any sort about this, but I think it’s nice, if one notices that reg is open and there is no thread about it, not to announce it. Just my opinion. (cuts down on sockpuppets registering)

We could discuss open registration and new lizard hatchlings when registration is closed just to drive the stalkers crazy.
