I honestly hate doing this because I had long been an admirer of Bernie’s long before many of the people who say today Bernie or Bust had even heard of the man. I won’t insult with a MBF here but let me say frankly that Bernie to me shares a lot of attributes that make Ted Cruz unlikable to his colleagues and that’s not something I want in a President. Bernie loves to cite FDR but he ignores that FDR was able to work with a wide range of people. Bernie really is that guy who has his mind made up and don’t even thinking about starting to attempt to change his mind. That to me is not a virtuous trait and it sure as hell isn’t presidential.

I was realizing today that Bernie is like Dr. William Haber in Ursula LeGuin’s book ‘The Lathe of Heaven’. He’s a guy who thinks that if he could make his dreams come true, he could single-handedly create a perfect world. It doesn’t actually turn out all that well for Dr. Haber…

Hillary isn’t exactly George Orr, but at least she realizes that everything is connected.
