I’ve heard and read people claiming that electric cars would never catch on because it takes so long to charge them, and on a long trip you’d have to stop for too long, too frequently.

The things is, how many families that can afford a $35K sedan have only one car?

That would be twice what my house cost.

That, and everything here is a long trip. An electric Smart has a range of sixty miles. That would get me to Scottsbluff or Sidney, where I would be stranded.
