Fair enough but this really is uniquely bad. And as craven as Reagan was, he never was outright about it. Don’t get me wrong. Reagan and Reaganism needs to be re-examined as an ideological ancestor of Trump and Trumpism but in this age of rabid information communications, Trump’s danger stands out.
