Speaking of elections, and closer to home… El Salvador’s new president was sworn in yesterday, a hard-left winger and former member of the FMLN guerrillas, the guys our Special Forces were fighting there in the 1980s.

Are there any books about our operations in Central America during the 1980s, I mean ones that aren’t filled with Seymour Hersch-esque conspiracy theories?
