And, believe me, I celebrate the hell out of Halloween. It’s my favorite holiday, for real. I watch horror movies, visit haunted houses, listen to old radio shows, decorate the house, try out all kinds of pumpkin recipes, see displays and artwork - it’s most definitely my month. From October 1st to November 1st I’m wringing it out, pedal to the metal, full-on Halloween.

For Christmas I usually put up lights and ornaments in the windows. And I see the Nutcracker every year, and try to catch The Messiah if it’s being performed live somewhere. I may be an atheist, but I like the music and decorations. The rest of it I try to ignore.
