The culture of creationism is potentially one of the most destructive forces this country faces.

We have seen the kind of havoc pseudo science has wrought- Hitler’s ‘Eugenics’ and Islamic ‘science’ are but two examples.

Science, when draped in the filth of what is politics, is a guarantee that no good will ever emerge.

The same applies to religion.

CJ’s stand on keeping creationism out of schools, etc., is moral, not political or anti religious.

I agree in part of what you are saying here, I understand the sentiment. However, the assertion that keeping creationism out of schools is “not political” is false. The so called conservative movement (or at least large sways of it) would love to put creationism in schools all across the country. Opposing them is very political indeed. As well as moral.
