They finally got to Ron Paul when? This is his second national campaign for the Presidency - and only now are his actions coming into full scrutiny (and even then, the main media outlets are dragging their feet). So, in Paul’s case, they’re getting around to the claims 4-5 years after his first campaign for the presidency, and many of his comments, linkages, etc., were known during the 1990s and before.

It just means that the media will eventually get around to taking Santorum or Romney to task just in time for the 2016 elections.
