I don’t think you and I are so far apart on this issue. You are getting involved in the party, and I truly applaud you for that. You are a bright young woman, and more people like you should get involved. The party would be better for that.

I think perhaps we just have a slightly different take. I would like to see this tea party passion focused on something that will get fiscally responsible people back in Congress. Some feel the protests will help with that. Maybe it will, but I’m skeptical. I just think it would be time better spent working within the party to root out socialist republicans. If the protests help to accomplish that, great. If they don’t, well…. I don’t know what.
