If this turns out to be Jihadist perpetrated, I wonder if Salman Rushdie’s ‘but brigade’ will make themselves known after this shooting too. If (some) Muslims find images of Muhammad wrong then they are free not to look. They should not be able to dictate to the whole rest of the world at the barrel of a gun what can and cannot be depicted.
